blender selects
4-track vinyl EP
We selected four unsigned local bands performing on the Bedford live scene to appear on a unique and special vinyl 4-track record: blender selects.

The double A-side EP features Elijah Miller, Sarpa Salpa, SARA and Banton. We sold 100 advance copies with a successful crowdfund, which allowed us to press 600 records. Each band will now have around 100 copies to sell out on tour. We hope that future ‘selects’ project will continue to bring local bands together.

friday night blender
We were always looking for new places and venues to host a Friday Night Blender but we didn't think 2020 would take us in to the world of live streaming.

The Friday Night Blender mixes up the best of the local scene with a few surprises. We've been able to work with some incredible bands across the nights we've run; Lily Agnes, Adam James Urwin, Gen & The Degenerates, Elijah Miller, ENNE, Low Girl and everyone's favourite Ska masters, The Pride to name a few.

the st mary's stage
Bedford's bi-annual gathering down by the river is one of the largest free festivals in Europe. We hope to be back in 2022 running the St Mary's Stage again and we are looking forward to finalising the lineup for next year, which will include some very special guests.

blender weekend takeover
We love the Bedfringe weekend. Some of the best talent in comedy, theatre and entertainment sharpening their game in preparation for a stint in Edinburgh. We provide the music for a weekend takeover and with the busking spirit very much alive, have proven that the age old passing a bucket around can work wonders for the bands who take part [we might go contactless next year though!]
We look forward to bringing some exciting new bands to play in the glorious surroundings of the Quarry Theatre.
